Job TitleCHAIRE PROFESSEUR JUNIOR Section 63 Campagne 2025 / TENURE TRACK POSITION in micro-nanotechnology for healthcare
A detailed offer:RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
The CPJ will join and strengthen the international leadership position of FEMTO-ST research lab, by providing skills in the online and on-chip qualification of biomedicines in synergy with the multidisciplinary expertise already present in the UMR and in conjunction with health laboratories from UMLP.
In an international context of innovation for biotherapy, the CPJ’s scientific project focuses on proposing new methods and original microsystems for the qualification (online or on a microfluidic chip) of acellular & cellular biomedicines (and their by-products). The systems could also enable the identification and trapping of potential contaminants in the production line.
The CPJ will propose the development of Lab-On-Chip, Organ- On-Chip and/or analytical methods for bioanalysis, based on nano- and microtechnologies. Thus, the recruited person will be able to respond to scientific challenges such as:
(i) development and integration of microfluidic components, bio-mi- crosensors and actuators within lab-on-chip and organ-on-chip type devices,
(ii) development of innovative microtransducers and the associated bio-interfaces for the quantification of rare biological elements in complex fluid
iii) multi-scale and multiplex analytical methodologies based on engineered substrates for the multimodal and discriminative detection and nanocharacterization of biological or bioengineered objects,
(iv) microsystems allowing the elucidation of mechanisms of action, functions and interactions of objects such as: cells, vesicles or macromolecular complexes, directly in their bioproduction environment and/or in complex biofluids.
This position is an opportunity to join the Nano2BIO team (https://teams.femto-st.fr/nano2bio/en), led by Celine Elie-Caille (linkedin.com/in/celine-elie-caille)

TEACHING ACTIVITIES
The lecturer-researcher recruited at the CPJ will be appointed to the ISIFC school, which offers an engineering program and an international master’s degree in biomedical engineering. The recruited candidate will teach in French and English in the fields of electronics and/or applied physics dedicated to medical devices.
